Tango!

It didn't take long to adopt the Argentine lifestyle.  On our first full day, we woke up at almost 10 am and went to bed at about 2 am the next morning.  Dinner doesn't start until 9 pm at the earliest so that to pace everything.

Our relaxed schedule unfortunately has us out and about in the hottest part of the day.  We took a walk to see some sites by the riverfront and then over to one of the main squares near several government buildings.  We saw the pink palace where the President of Argentina resides.  Next door, we went into the National Bank to exchange some money.  It was hot and there was a long line.  Unfortunately, Mary felt faint and ended up seeing the resident doctor.  Apparently, the national bank has a large infirmary on the 4th floor.  After a little fluid, some food and several blood pressure checks, they let her go with a stern warning about going out in the middle of the day.

The thing to do in Argentina is to see a Tango of course.  We found an "intimate" club that knew us when we showed up for the show because our group made up more than half the audience.  There was some amazing footwork among the dancers and we each were "invited" to take a mini-lesson.  Hemant broke the ice by going first.
